FARIDABAD/BALLABGARH: The city police on Friday arrested the male teacher, who is alleged to have kidnapped and raped two of his minor girl students, who were studying in class X of Adarsh Vidya Mandir High School, Ballabgarh. His accomplice, who was none other than his wife, was arrested on Thursday.
Shobhna and Chetna (names changed) often met sought academic assistance from their teacher Gajendra, but the latter had for sometime been making advances towards them.
On September 13, the two girls were taken to a guest house in Bharatpur, Rajasthan, by Gajendra and his wife.
When Shobhna did not return home, her brother Pratap Singh, approached the police and a case was registered under sections 366A (seduction of minor girl) and section 34 (common intention) of the IPC. Two days later, Pratap Singh received a phone call from his sister Shobhna, saying that she was in Govardhan near Mathura.
According to the police, both girls alleged that at Bharatpur they had been moved from place to place and repeatedly raped by Gajendra, during their three-day stay in that place. They were then taken to Govardhan, where Gajendra and his wife left them on the road to fend for themselves. The police have filed a case under section 376 (rape) of the IPC.
